Ice Abstracts

If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you know I’m a huge fan of the icy places on Earth. You know, the ones with all those icebergs? Well, I’ve been trying to capture the beauty of these close-up shots, and I’m thrilled to share a couple of them with you. These icebergs are like frozen works of art, with swirling patterns and textures that you won’t find anywhere else. It’s like looking inside a snowflake, but even more incredible. I hope you enjoy these two images as much as I do!

Rusty Fishing Boat

Check out this old fishing boat! I’m a bit of a rust enthusiast, and I can’t resist capturing these weathered wonders. I spent a while there, taking in all the details. The abstract feel of the photo is really captivating – the subtle colors and textures create a sense of mystery and wonder. It’s like the viewer is questioning what they’re actually seeing!

Bull In The Window

Bull In The Window

When you travel, you often come across the most peculiar sights. Every year, I make a trip to the Faroe Islands, a breathtaking place with stunning landscapes. In one of the tiny villages we visit, there’s this small building with a bull inside. It’s a bit puzzling because the bull seems to be a bit too big for the place. There’s a small window on the side, and whenever the bull spots people approaching, it pops its head out of the window. It’s quite a friendly bull, and it seems to enjoy having its picture taken. This particular photo caught my eye because it’s quite unusual.

Alaska Sunrise

AlaSKA SUNRISE
Alaska Sunrise

As I travel, I’m always looking for great images that set a mood.  This was photographed in Alaska from the deck of a ship I was traveling on.  The color was a beautiful gold because of forest fires in the area. The fishing boat was passing, and the composition was just perfect.  To enhance this image, I added a small black border and a texture scree.  Finally, I included some birds to make the image work.
