If you want to visit some astounding locations for photography make a point to visit Moab, UT. From there it is a short drive to Arches National Park as well as Canyon lands. I could spend all day shooting in just a few locations there is so much to see. This image was made at dusk while there was still some snow on the ground. Shot with an IQ 180 digital back from Phase One the detail in it is shape from foreground to background.

A View
I have been working at an Andy Biggs workshop the last few days. We have had the chance to shoot some very cool vistas. This one was done in Arches National Park near Skyline Arch. We were shooting the arch and went back to the cars the back way. And, turning the bend I saw this view. The detail is amazing as it was made with a Phase One IQ 180 and DF+ camera.
Skyline Arch
I am in Moab area tagging along at 2 workshops being lead by Andy Biggs. Andy a good friend and Phase One user asked if I could come to these workshops and let attendees experience Phase One cameras. This is a shot made at skyline arch today. I found a number of cool angles and made a few nice images. You can count on seeing more. This was shot with a Phase One IQ180 camera and 28mm LS lens. The detail in the file at 80 MP is astounding.
Moab Here We Come
Are any of you watching Peter Lik’s photography show on the Weather Channel? He shoots with a Phase One camera and it’s great to see our cameras being used by a shooter like Peter. Last night his show was on Arches which is essentially where my friends and I are headed. It draws you back for more images. So here’s a shot from last year. I think it was done from Dead Horse overlook or something like that. I haven’t had my coffee yet and I am about to run for the airport. Enjoy and stay tuned.
