Faroe Islands

This another from my Faros Islands series.  This little slice of Paradise is amazing with waterfalls, a church and a small bay.  I used a texture screen and some other post processing tricks to make it a bit more special.

Reflection

As a photographer, seeing things is an acquired talent. The more you look, the better you can see. As part of our Faroe Island workshops, we take the attendees down to the wharf in Tórshavn, the largest city in the Faroe Islands. Here, we ask the photographers to wander around and see differently. Of course, as instructors, we do the same. This is one of my photos of a boat reflection along the waterfront.

A Couple Of Faroe Island Photos

This little village has it all, waterfalls, rolling hills, church and a bay

The Faore Isalnds are a small group of islands in the North Atlantic ocean. Much smaller that Iceland, these islands offer up a variety of great images to photographers.  Small villages and immense seascapes and landscapes await those that visit.  These are just two images I did in MAy 2022 in the Faroes.  More to come.

More Faroes

For the last few, Steve Gosling, along with our wives, have been photographing in the Faroe Islands. We have been scouting out locations form our workshop in May 20202, which is only a few spots from being sold out.  The Faroes is a fantastic landscape, and during this trip, we have had a lot of clouds and dark clouds.  This has made me create a lot of my images in Black and White.  There are a few samples here.
