Near as I can figure and from what I have been told, many Italian families with large properties in Tuscany built their own family chapels. You can find these dotting the landscape all over Italy. This one chapel I came back to time and time again as it could be shot at different times of days and from far away or close-up. This one shot from the field in front of the chapel. The field was all yellow and I decided to use this as an extreme foreground and position the chapel in the upper right. I think it works.

Siena Pano
During our PODAS photography workshop in Tuscany we did take time to visit villages and cities so we could get a real feel of the Tuscany Landscape. One of these cities is Siena an absolutely beautiful old city that has a giant square or plaza. They are famous for the cathedral there as well as horse races. The above image was made by taking a number of images with the Fuji Pro X 1 and stitching them together.
Black Church
This is the famous Black Church in Iceland. Very iconic and everyone that visits Iceland photographs this church. I tried to do something different. Using a Phase One camera with a 240mm lens on it I shot from a distance and did 3 exposures and then combined them into a pano. I used the long lens to compress the background and to give a big feel to the mountains behind the church.
Church On A Hill
I have passed this church many times while visiting Iceland. Each time I said to myself I’ll come back and photograph it. Then one day driving buy I saw the birds and the fog and decided it was time to stop and shoot the image. I just love the way this works. Hope you do too.
Church Window and Bible
In Iceland as you travel the country you can’t help but notice small churches all with red roofs. Most of these are at great KODAK moment locations. One particular church sits on top of a large hill. I have some great shots of this church and it is in line to be published here. This shot is the interior of one church. I had my Phase One 60 megapixel back with me and I loved the way the light came in the window to light the bible. It is tach sharp to, because I used the large megapixel camera. You can read all the words in the bible.
Church
This is an image photographed in a small village near San Miguel, Mexico. Inside the church was a large pilgrimage of 1000 plus men. I have some interesting images from the inside but when I went outside I saw this part of the church. I loved the colors and the all the details.
