Locomotive

While visiting Snowqualime, Washington I came across and old steam locomotive.  I did a lot of photos of it but went in close and made some fun images.  This is one of those images that has some beautiful man made geometric abstract shapes.

More Palouse

If you have been following me for any length of time, you most likely know how much I enjoy the  Palouse.  The Palouse is the Tuscany of America.  Gentle rolling hills, abandoned things, and big skies.  These are three images from the Palouse from last year.  The grain silo is the old and abandoned General Mills silo.  The barn with the American flag is an icon of the Palouse as it is one of the first things you see from the road as you enter the Palouse region on the main highway. And then another iconic location is the Wagon Wheel Farm.  This is the location of an artist’s co-op, but also a fence that surrounds the location made up of old iron wagon wheels.
