photoPXL.com Has Finally Launched

I am so happy!  After six long months of super hard work, we are finally able to launch the new photoPXL.com website.  This has been an intense labor of love for what my life is about, photography.  Last October our lives changed when the site I was running and helped grow to what it is today let us go.  It’s all water under the bridge at this point, but it made us rethink where we wanted to be and what we wanted to do.  I could have retired and just do what retired people do.  That, however, is not me.  I enjoyed publishing a website photographers could go to and call home.  So, I decided to build what I hope will be the ultimate website for that photoPXL.com. With the support of family and a lot of friends, we set out to do just that.

PhotoPXL was born over a dinner conversation, and we even bought the domain while at the dinner table.  Next, we set out to find a web developer that could take my vision and turn it into a website.   We found the developer Ayokay in Indianapolis, and they immediately listened and presented ideas that made sense.  Together with we designed the new site and tied all the pieces together.

With me on this new venture is Chris Sanderson, Debra Fadely-Raber and Michael Durr.  All were with me at the previous site.  Now we are back, and we have a long list of projects and some great content that we will be sharing.  We also have a YouTube channel that ties into our site along with a facebook page, twitter account, and Instagram accounts.

So, if you haven’t checked the site out, please visit now and become part of our family.   Thank you!

  1. Kevin,
Have been rather distracted by non photographic events but had noticed that after a long string of times when I hit the LL icon in my bookmarks that I wasn’t finding anything that grabbed my attention. Then I noticed that your name no longer appeared on/in it (except after digging down through several pages of past articles).
Glad you and the rest of the gang have pulled PhotoPXL together and wish you guys all the best. I’ve added yours to my bookmarks so will be checking in and following you.

PS I’ve not signed up for emails cause my blessed Inbox is swamped at present but will sign up later.

  2. Hi Kevin,

I hope you are doing well! I have a TX client that is looking to go on a photo trip. Can I give him your email address? If so what email address should I give him?

    Best regards,
    Michelle Matthews Liljegren

  3. hi Kevin
as Charles hoot said I was beginning to feel there was a lack of anything interesting on LL and I scrolled back over 8 months to see your last post but no word of your departure at all. It’s a shame as I loved your articles so best of luck moving forward.
