A few months ago I spent some time in the Canadian Rockies shooting and prepping for a fall workshop there. There is the main highway that runs south to north, then there is the side roads that always offer up surpasses. This was taken from a side road east of the rockies.

Reflections Of Color
I love shooting in citys and I like to do what we photographers would call street photography. I shot this image in Copenhagen walking the streets. I looked into a canal which I was walking along and the light and colors were creating amazing reflections. I took this shot after a Kayaker had just past and the water was still in a ripple effect. Almost like a painting.
Algonquin Park Shore Line
I have been doing what every photographer should do is going through old images and archive them off to a second drive to be stored elsewhere. Also, I am in the middle of a project for a massive web site change. So, as I am going through my files I am finding tons of old but good shots. Here is one from 2004 shot on a Phase One P25 camera. I love the colors, contrast, birch trees and how it all sits on a very steep hillside.
Tranquil
This is a very simple but effective image made in Rickets Glen, PA. Fall colors, slow moving creek and a slight drag to the shutter. This was made on a P65 60MP camera and I have made some very large prints of it and they are tack sharp. It is a great wall photo.
Fall Colors
Well it’s been a few weeks since my surgery and I just had to get out of the house. Not being able to lift a camera has been driving me crazy too. I will recover and get my strength in my shoulder back, but there comes a time where you just have to take some steps. On Sunday I ventured out with my friend Debra and we took a journey south and found some fall colors and waterfalls. The day was just perfect and the colors were just hitting peak. I ended up shooting the iPhone left handed. Yeah, pretty pathetic considering I wanted to shoot the big boy IQ180 the whole time. In any case I was able to get some nice images. Here is one. And as a bonus, I got to visit with my youngest son Scott in Bloomington. He’s looking good!
