Hey, it’s my website and every now and then I will share a personal photo or two. This is one of those days. I present my furry friend Pixel. She’s an incredibly lovable cat. She gets me and I get her. I sometimes feel like we are in tune with each other. I got her a small sick kitten. It was touch and go for a while but I was a big part of nursing her back to health. We bonded really well and today she is my little and very loving cat buddy.

The website Luminous Landscape has been featuring a “Shooting With the Masters” series. The concluding segment with Charlie Cramer included a mini-piano recital by the same, presenting his images while performing a selection from Liszt’s Années de pèlerinage. What a rare treat! Note that Charlie has a graduate degree from Eastman School of Music in piano as well as having been mentored by Ansel Adams. Recall that Ansel Adams started out to be a concert pianist and turned to photography as a second choice. You need to pay to view, all of $12 a year to access this video portion of Luminous Landscape.
I, on-the-other-hand, do not have the same pedigree, and am an amateur pianist and photographer in that order. Charlie’s presentation and comment, negative is the score and the print is the performance, inspired me to assemble the following album, Musical Images. Actually I had the idea of pairing music, a composer, or a particular score, with a number of my image even before following Charlie’s presentation. Some imagines reminded me of a composer or a composition, which influenced my final editing for print.
